Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is simply making stuff up. The rhetoric coming from Arizona recently about illegal immigrants, border violence, desert “beheadings”, ”terror babies” , etc. is pure “b.s.” that is being legitimized by those who should know better. In true entrepreneurial spirit, Arizona has dusted off an old but effective product to sell into our recessionary climate: fear.
The New York Times editorial from Sept. 4, 2010 (see link below) is short, accurate and timely. It deserves your attention.
