Green Card Lottery

TO: Immigration Clients of Paulich, Slack & Wolff, P.A.

The DV-2011 Green Card Lottery registration will be held between October 2 and November 30, 2009. If you were born in a qualifying country or if you are married to someone born in a qualifying country, you may register. Registration must be electronic. This office will file and monitor your registration for $85.00 per application. Winners will be notified by mail between May and July 2010. If you win and qualify, you can file for your "green card" between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011.

One application per person: husbands and wives may each file an application. One winner allows spouse and minor children (under 21 years unmarried) to be eligible. Applicants must have a high school education (or its equivalent) or two years skilled work experience within the past five years. 55,000 visas are available. $85.00 covers registration only.

You ARE NOT eligible from: Brazil, Canada, China (mainland born), Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam. Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan are eligible. If you are not eligible, we will return your fee.

How to register:

Complete and sign the attached Green Card Lottery (DV-2011) form (two pages),
Provide one color passport photo (2" x 2") for each family member (spouse and children).
Send $85.00, completed form(s) and photo(s) to: Paulich, Slack & Wolff, P.A. in the enclosed self-addressed envelope. Check, money order or credit card accepted.
Deadline: November 27, 2009. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST WEEK TO FILE!
